I have an electronic issue going on. Truck has 4.7.

The radio quit and when you shut off the engine, the hot light stays on and nothing that would normally work with the key off works. No dome light no locks nada. No OBD2 port either.

All fuses are good.

Codes from flashing the key are 0456, 0440, 0301 and 0137. 301 has been fixed but not cleared.(coil). 0137 seems to be the only one remotely involved.

One of the alphabet modules?

Kevin

Didn't the 03 and up have some kind of fuse box corrosion issue? I seem to remember reading about it when I had mine. Try to inspect the entire thing. I think there is some disassembly required.

I checked all the fuses with a test light with them installed in the fuse box. The only one with no power key on or off was the O2 and it powered up when I started the engine.

Left signal has now left the building. Flasher runs real fast. 4 ways flash a little slower but no left side.

I have never had the right trailer turn signal. I was told it was the FCM (Front Control Module) that is attached under the fuse box to the fuse box. I replaced it and it did not fix the issue. Then I was told it was probably the corrosion in the fuse box, but I have not tried to look at that yet. It still might be wiring to the trailer connector, but if it is the fuse box then just checking the plug won't tell me.

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I do find it a little odd that the O2 fuse has NO power until the engine is running. It has a P0137 code (low voltage bank 1 sensor 2) It also has a misfire code on #1 P0301 caused by a bad coil (replaced) which could also trip the O2 code.

The data port is dead too so I can't even dump all the codes and see what comes back.

Well now that it has a history of electrical problems, do you smell smoke...?

On some the 02 fuse having no power until the eng is running is normal as its fed by the ASD relay which is not on until it sees a crank sensor signal. And it feeds the 02 fuse and then the 02 heater. Ron

Well I just changed the PDM (fuse box) and the FCM. Glad it was used stuff because there is ZERO change. Same stuff that was FUBAR still is.

Thoughts?

Have you removed any wires from the fuse box. Sometimes terminal spread and even though the fuse check good it's not making contact with the terminal. Just a thought. Any recent repairs?

I replaced the fusebox and the FCM both. Same stuff doesn't work. If it was the harness connections I would think swapping from one box to the other would either make it worse or better. No sign of corrosion on the plugs or the box itself.

Have you checked your grounds..IIRC there are two that run from the back of the heads to the firewall, a couple that run from the frame to the block on the sides, and one on each side that run from the frame to the fenders..

Wifes 2002 ram had almost the same problem. Under the fuse box a wire was broken. It looked like it was cut but no one could get to it. The wire was purple, it solved radio not coming on at all. Inside lights would not come on unless truck was running. Plus OBD2 port was dead key on or off. Now it works like a champ.
