Can anyone tell me what size/pitch of threads the steering column shaft has at the steering wheel end for a `70 B-body? Reason being, I would like to buy a die to clean up the threads on my buddy's `70 Road Runner's steering column. Somehow, some way... when a mutual friend removed the car's steering wheel, they managed to really mess up the threads where that 3/4" nut holds the steering wheel on. They screwed up the condition of that nut as well, and I'd like to just get a new one of those. But at the very least, I'd like to get a die (if possible) to clean up the shaft's end. Anyone know what size I need to get?

Thanks in advance!!

Can't be sure if this fits but my steering lock depressing tool that threads onto the shaft is labeled 9/16-18.
