It appears after some research the the drivers door on my 37 is actually a 36 door (the inner structure is different and my passenger side is the original 37 door. I have found a set for $1100 and that set is actually the opposite of mine. It is a 37 drivers door and a 36 passenger. Do you think if I buy the set and pull the 36 door off my truck and then try to sell the matching 36 pair I can recover my money? All doors are in good shape with very little rust.

Personally I think you'd be pretty hard pressed to find the guy doing a build needing the doors and willing to spend that kind of money for them......especially if the outer skins are the same between 36 and 37.

I would never have guessed they'd be in demand or that expensive.

Doors came today, they look nice, a few dings, dents and a 1/4 size rust hole in the same location as my door, I will post pics later
