1969RR OP super stock 1 Joined: Aug 2009 Posts: 740 Anderson, IN	Hello everyone! I've purchased a new gear box from Firm Feel for my 70 Challenger. The sector shaft on the new one is much smaller diameter than the box on the car. Pitman slides all the way to the box. So, should the 70 have the smaller sector shaft or the larger? I'm hearing conflicting info on this. Thanks in advance! Jeff

fastmark master F Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 6,416 Abilene, Texas	The 70 has the smaller shaft unless it is a T/A box. 73 up used the big shaft.

I had purchased a 1970 box from Year One (3 years ago) and also a sector shaft for a 1970. I know it was expensive! They are the large diameter tho. I thought for sure I bought the 1970, non AAR item. Now, I get to buy another for the smaller diameter sector. Oh well! Thanks! Jeff
