Is anybody here familiar with adjustments on the E body top? When the top is down, the windows all roll up nice and straight. When the top is up, it pushes the driver side quarter window forward about 1/2" at the top, causing the driver door window to overlap it at the top. Have to be very careful closing the door so not to shatter the window. Yes I have the factory service manual, but it doesn't seem to have any adjustment for this. Car has had this issue since I have owned it. I have the interior out right now, so this seemed to be a good time to get to everything. Thanks-

If the passenger side glass is fine and the convertible top header meets up with the windshield frame fine then........

I would try adjusting the drivers side door and qtr glass before I would adjust the top.

Does the top header pegs fit nicely in the top recesses of the windshield frame?

Also, the weather stripping on the top frame has a slit for the qtr window. Is the window entering the slit?

Yes top fits into header good. Pass side is good. Just driver side acting up- that's what has me stumped. Windows line up perfectly with the top down. You can tell the top is pushing the quarter window forward.

The windows can be adjusted fore and aft. It's easy with the interior panels out. I just did it on my vert for the same reason. No problems now.

OK I may have to move both of the windows forward to clear the top- that sounds logical. Will check that out tomorrow. Thanks!
