is there more than one manufacturer of reproduction ignition wires-the last two sets i got which were packaged with "authentic restoration product" were wrong. when i questioned them the answers were not to my liking-who do i go to for correct ones?
all the best
frank.

Basically, they are a GM wire with Mopar markings, but that's all the choice you have unless you buy NOS. We carry them if you'd like a quote from us.

i will order a set through you but it looks like i need a custom order.
see this picture is of original wires. it`s a 1965 273 commando engine. the wires have packard radio tvrs lr 3-Q-64 /H/H/H. they have orange boots on the spark plug end and black boots on the distributor end.
yes-they are a g.m style lead with orange chrysler style boots and they are sized for a 273 small block.
as you can see from the picture they still have the engine paint on the leads from when they were freshly installed on the assembly line.
what do people think? are these the original wires or were they changed with this style and they also found 3-Q-64 dated ones?

they other set we need is for the 69 1/2 bee-need a red coil boot-does anyone reproduce this?

all the best
frank.

Frank,

They are not going to look like what you have pictured. Check out this link to see what they'll look like. Pick the date code of your choice and click view:

I'm not qualified to say what you have pictured is original or not. Chrysler did have different vendors, so some variation is possible. As far as the '69 Bee I'm not aware of anyone reproducing the red coil boot, but we can call Lectric and ask them if they'll do it. Otherwise, if you find one, I don't think that would be too hard to change out. Just let us know what you'd like to do.

Thanks,
Randy
