My car had been repainted before my brother got it in 1975. I also had it repainted in 1980. I want to duplicate the factory black out after I get the painted shell back from the body shop.
I have pictures of the black paint on the radiator support and there were still some remnants of black out in the pinch weld area.
There also seemed to be evidence of black out behind the rear bumper. A search on the topic didn't yield much info.
Any body have any pictures of how the pinch weld area was painted. Should the rear valence be painted?

Was your car a factory undercoated car? Did it come with lower rocker moldings or not?

My car is pretty bare bones. Extras included radio, automatic tranny, power steering, and body side molding. It was not factory undercoated and did not have rocker moldings.
