I see the restoration shops sell a fish in emblem for the hood and trunk lid. I've really never seen a trunk lid with it, just the hood. My car is the same way. Did particular models have this located on the trunk lid? Thanks.

only 67 Barracuda's get the fish with circle on the top of the trunk. The resto parts resellers just don't know all the details.
68's have a fish between the top and bottom trunk moldings. 69's have the fish integrated to the full molding panel.

The authority is the parts book, sort of. Trouble is emblems and such are often undefined except by part number. Anyhow, it's a start. Maybe you can get a description of the part numbers elsewhere. See 1968 parts book, pages 23-116 to 23-120 here: http://www.mymopar.com/index.php?pid=107

Thanks very much for the insight. My 68 does have an emblem between the two mouldings on the tail.
