Putting a 440 in my 73 RR which previously had a 318 in it, do I need a different Trans xmember? I saw someone posting for a big block trans xmember and the though never crossed my mind...

The mounting face should be the same even if the 318 had a 904. Not sure why the other poster advertized it a a BB xmember, maybe attempting to be clear on what he had, not that it was a different part
