It depends on the cam, carbs, headers, motor size and so on I would say from around 2500 RPM and up to where you want to shift it I've had a few motors with different tunnel rams, the carb. size, headers, cam and valve train will dictate where the motor will quit pulling hard Sorry for no personel experiences on that manifold

It looks like a weiand I run one of those years ago I think it was rated from 3500-7500.But like Cab said it is based more on your combo.I run 2 Holley 4779 750 DP with the air horns milled of and power valves block #80 sq jetted on a 440 cu n engine ported & polished 915 heads and Comp Cams 286 duration 750 lift. You will not lose any bottom end with that intake. Most engines similar to mine with a M1 intake a 1050 Holley made in the upper 580 hp range, with that intake mine made 614 hp @ 6400 RPM.Before the dyno pull they told me I should have went with the M1 & 1050 Holley, after the dyno pull they asked it they could try the intake & carbs on their personal engine and went from the upper 580 hp to 612 hp.The only thing the intake needs is gasket matching.

The Weiand tunnel ram has fairly long runners that are on the small side so the RPM range is lower. The M1 tunnel ram was more of a race part with larger and shorter runners.

Porting them also helps with bigger short blocks, and obviously cam selection is important. I hogged mine out and saw a solid .10+ from increased runner volume on a 535 with 906 heads. It really woke up when I went from the .590 cam to a 286/286 @ .050 roller. The rpm difference was from 5700 best shift points to 6200 rpm with the roller.

At the risk of sounding like a jerk or making a joke, when I get asked this question I smile and call it a 2500 - 10,000 rpm intake. Like it was said above, everything is combo dependent. Bore X stroke configuration is big as well as cam RPM (intended) range. The cam's gear plays a part, but back to the intake......

Which engine is that for and engine size?
How long are the runners on that MP part?

I myself have the small block unit that I would like to put on a 420+ cube power plant.

That will give you an idea of the power range, I'd take what's advertised with a grain of salt.

FED, you can't listen to Chevy guys about a tunnel ram on a MOPAR, it's apples and oranges. On a big block MOPAR, the tunnel ram is more forgiving and makes more power than any single 4 intake. and more so when fitted with a pair of Dominators.

OK, then I'd tell him on a worked 440 it would be good for a range of 3000 - 8000. Then add a thousand for the short stroke engines.

(say "Why-And" LOL!)

I had forgotten that's what it used to say on their intakes.

No problem Fed. Like the fellas said above, all of it is a combination dependent issue. A larger stroked engine will have a lower RPM range and just the opposite in a shorter stroke engine. Everything comes into play.

Who's the fella again (New Jersey guy with a A body Cuda) that runs a F.I. Tunnel rammed small block? IIRC, he is not twisting a lot of RPM's and drive the street.
