I'm putting a 9" rear end in my cuda. It's a race car and a 4spd and I can't keep rear ends together... I have a brand new drive shaft with 1350 u joints and I'm curious if any one knows the difference between a 9" and 8.75 axle centerline to u joint? I'm hoping I won't have to get a new driveshaft.. That I can modify the one I have.

Thanks kevin

8 3/4" = 12.35"

9" = 10.66"

I believe the 9" has different yoke lengths, so that dimension will vary.

I have seen several different length yokes on the 9".
