Hey guys, I'm new to dry sumps but I'm wondering if it is okay to modify a bath tub style pan to work around stock steering? Could I cut and notch it to fit? Am I best to just run a tube like some of the aftermarket wet sump pans?

Can't afford to do a nice K and a rack right now so looking for solutions, car is a street strip car trying to be faster without turning the kit on

If you have a pickup in each sump you should be fine. It might not be the best solution but it should work.

I'm not sure what a bath tub pan is. But if it's a regular oil pan yes use it.baffle the sump so it will keep the the oil in. Holes in bottom of baffle to let oil drain from shallow side

Cool, I wasn't sure what to call it but it reminds me of a bath tub lol maybe dragster pan is more accurate.
So cut what I have to just make sure the low points have pickups?

How many suction ports on your pump... on mine I put
a wall in it up to the #3 main and had a pick up
at the rear(low area) on both rear sections..it was
a low profile style that I made up

Not sure Mr. P, haven't got it in front of me yet. Just trying to plan ahead so things almost go smoothly and I sorta kinda have a plan lol

Any recommendations on what size oil tank to run?

I made my tank... it can hold 11 qts but I only run
9 1/2 qts in it.. right at the defuser plate(air separator
plate)
