Shouldn't drop below ~10v while cranking, record feature on a multimeter is good for that. 13.5v-14.0v is normal running voltage with a little rpm [mopar alts are lazy at low rpm]. a Anything about 14.5v would be a little too much IMO. 1973 340 'Cuda 2013 Mustang GT

Looked like my gauge was just on the "charge" side coming home last night so i checked it at idle..it was about 14.2. I boiled a battery over a few years ago and am a little paranoid about overcharging. Think i'll clean and check my connections ..thanks guys.
