I have a 1970 Collision Parts catalog. I think it is the type used by a body shop for looking up parts needed for an accident repair. It is dated February 1970 and says the prices are effective at the time of printing.

Are the prices the net to customer, and the jobber price was less? Almost all the parts have either an A or B noted after them (a few have N). Does that designate that they were stocked at a regional center vs. dealer vs. has to be shipped in from the factory?

Prices of course seem inexpensive after 45 years, but were plenty at the time. Plastic lenses are really inexpensive.

Examples:

Barracuda 1970:

Twin Bulge Hood $ 72.65
Shaker Hood $ 120.00
Grille (the front plastic grill) $ 18.95

Belvedere 1970:

Front Floor Pan $ 36.00
Rear Bumper back-up lens and gasket $ 1.80

They usually show the meaning of the abbreviations at the beginning of the catalog.

No legend or definition of the abbreviations in the front, back, or on the pages of the catalog.
