Instead of taking things apart ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif) Bottom end is together. Very happy with the pistons from Diamond. Perfect fit. D-day (dyno day) is the 3rd week of June. I want it buttoned up tomorrow....

Thanks. Only new parts are pistons and rod bearings... it's a bit overkill for an 11:1 pump gas motor but hey, use what you got ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/biggrin.gif)
GRP aluminum rods, Bryant Billet crank, hell-fire rings, coated Clevite bearings. Compression drop was from 15:1 to 11:1. Big time fuel downgrade. Was VP C-16, now 93 pump.

Looking good, Jim! Should run easy 11's all day long! ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif) j/k. Since you made a big change in compression, did you change the cam as well?

Jimmy, very cool to get it back to racing. Man I wished I could jump on ownning that thing. Not yet. How are the wires holding up? Been a long time, eh?. Let me know. You got those original Firecores maybe 6 or 7 years ago, at least. Thanks..
