I see from time to time other posters have asked or implied there are dealers on here that can get or sell parts at a discount . Having said this and already know how expensive the above rocker assemblies are , do we ( Moparts ) have a dealer on here that sell the Harland Sharp or T&D rockers for big block 440-1 heads ? I have come to the end of using the Indy aluminum rockers , having broke 2 this afternoon . I have also had a bad history with the mentioned rockers as well . Time to stop messing around with these . Please point me in the right direction . Thanks Gary

Todd at Marsh Performance / Moparts Connection or Comp Wedge--killer Harland deals --T&D is a PIA getting parts from --Harlands are Always on the shelf---Always go Jesel VS> T&D and you will be way better off--That being said Harlands are the best all around easy to use and PLENTY strong enough. Just take some care setting up side clearence per pair--the spacer washers they send with any rockers are not always a good match to the hold downs you may be using--just mix / match spacers and shims to get enough room per pair--check with everything tight --you can loosen and slightly move each seperate hold down sometimes--just keep at it until all 8 pairs are just right
I Love Harland Sharps and now Todd has them w/o the needles for a little less

Harland sharp vs T&D is like comparing Justin Bieber to Floyd Maywether..Bieb's being the harland.

I've never had any issue buying sets or parts from
T&D... and T&D is far better than HS

I have a set of T&D for my W2's. A friend had a set of HS for his..which he sold. The HS were a nice setup but I like the T&D better myself. I did like the spacer/bearing setup better on the HS over the plastic spacers on the T&D though.
Seldon at T&D was awesome and very helpful. I had a set of what I thought were stainless Norris rockers that had no ratio stamped on them. I sent him one and he had the tech ratio check the rocker so I could order my new ones. Then when he sent my rockers to his dealer...cheaper than buying from them direct...he forgot to include my sample. He sent the sample back to me at his cost and did not charge to check ratio either. He also put up with a lot of email and phone call questions from me. Since I got the rockers I LOVE them!!!

Everything from now on will be T&D here!!

T&D and Jesel --Same League way better than Harlands but Jesel way better to deal with -always in stock--NO waiting T&D ..you may wait until Christmas
Harlands are almost indestructable and are user friendly and almost 1/3 less than the others
I was not saying they are the same as Jesel/T&D
but as a dealer I order Jesels--I get rockers in a few days--as a dealer I order T&D and who knows when or what year they may arrive
I think Harlands are the best way to go on Indys that he already has since his heads are not cut for shaft rockers --he can pop them on what he has now.
The Dove rockers Indy has sold for years are good flat tappet rockers but are no way strong enough for modern roller spring pressure--Indy knows it, has always known it and hundreds of Indy customers have had failures but..Indys bank account has had zero failures from rockers.
90% of Mopar racers can go with Harlands and have zero problems--I love them--I just hate places that are always on back order building to order and putting you Way behind on projects--T&D makes that a specialty--Jesel makes and SHIPS rockers on demand and so does Harland--thats all

I've never had to wait for my rockers from T&D.. I
would get them within a week... I think I've had about
12 sets of T&D... mainly small block but 1 set for my
B-1 stuff... I have or had both styles of their rockers
with the common shaft and the short shafts... this is
the set on my W-9 with the short shafts

I don't have any experience with T and D or Jesel rockers, but I bought my Harland Sharpe's from Todd at Competition Wedge and recieved excellent service, so I wanted to recommend him for that.

Better get inside Ma. Looks like a storm's comin'.

Ok all , I was looking for info and got it . Thank you . I did not want to lean one way or the other and keep a hopeful eye on what was said but not have to read between the lines . I appreciate all your replies I really do . Does any one have contact info for either one ? Are they to be contacted through Moparts ? PM ? I want to get this back together ASAP like everyone else . I hate having issues this early in the season . Are there any other things I need to watch out for while setting them up ? I heard that with the needle brgs. with the Harland Sharps you need to orfice the oil lines because you loose so much pressure up top which can cause issues with the bottom end . Can anyone address this ? Thanks Gary

The common shaft T&D uses the standard through the
head oiling.. the small shaft type uses push rod oiling..
just the normal check with any rocker , check the
side clearance and the sweep on the valve tip to see
if they need any change... with the heads you have
I'm sure you would want the common shaft so you dont
have to mill off the stands

Gary, I thought I had Todd's info saved and now I cannot find it. I will keep looking. I remeber Todd Tuohey (?) Competition Wedge Engines and I believe it's in New York.
