How can understand the original wheel color of my 71 Cuda 383? I know the car had steeel wheels with hubcaps. There is a GB5 color code in the wheel section of the broadcast sheet, so I guess they are blue like the car. Production date is january 25. I heard there is a cut off date, and after that date wheels are all black. Thank you for the help

Correct - your wheels were GB5. The change to all black was somewhere around 4/1/71.

Did your car come with 14x6.0 steel wheels or 15x7.0 steel wheels?

14 x 6 steel wheels with White stripe Polyglas F70 14...when I got the car 30 years ago, tires were still the originals...

FWIW, I use to have a really nice 71 340 4 speed N96 EV2 Cuda built SPD in December. I tracked down original owner and he had pictures from when new, rims were black. 14x6 car
