Has anyone used their 3 inch drop lower control arms for dropping a mid-70's pickup? Just wondering what people thought of them and if they are worth the money? Seems kind of spendy at $735.00

I read here that some people use van control arms to lower a pickup. The main difference is that the spring pockets are deeper, allowing the LCA to sit closer to the frame.

Dodge Van control arms. swap the frame mount bushing and drill 2 holes for the pickup style strut rod and they bolt right in. great time for new ball joints. I also installed MOOG HD front coils to firm up the ride when I lowered mine

Thanks for the info. Any particular year vans? I've bought rear spring perches to flip the rear axle on top of the springs, but wasn't sure how I was going to drop the front a similar amount. Didn't really want to cut the coil springs.

Mid 80's B Van is what mine came off of. I recommend the HD Moog coils too, they might be a half inch taller than the stock ones but no more mushy bouncy ride
