OK I know there are better options however I was wondering IF you had Big Ball joint upper A arms would B -body 66-70 Spindle / drums work on a 67-72 A body ?
There comes a time in life, when you walk away from all the drama & people who create it. You surround yourself with people who make you laugh, forget the bad, and focus on the good.

This does work. The 10" drums are better than the 9" ones many A bodies came with!
Have you actually done it ?

Just for the heck of it, I DID put the original 10" drums from my 70 Charger onto a 76 Dart that I had. The Dart had one bad drum and the Charger drums were in better condition. I had some large upper ball joint arms from another car that I parted out. I had to clock the tie rods to get the wheels into alignment since the LBJs differ. Obviously the bolt pattern was different.

Well, since I've read (here and other forums) that A body 73-76 disc brakes will fit a B body...it kinda makes sense that the B body drums/spindles would fit an A body...the question is WHY???
2 reasons 1- I already have the stuff 2- I have some wheels that would work better with the drums.
One thing to keep in mind , this will widen the front track , about a 1/2" on each side.

Yup.
Years ago, way back soon after I first moved to Florida in '82, I met Tommy Ward, local Mopar wizard and class racer ...
He had a Duster drag car, was showing me around, and we got to talking about the big bolt pattern on the front. He was running drums for the lower drag ...
He explained how it was done, and then and there I realized "wow, the disc swap possibilities!"
Obviously, I am slow, and you guys all knew this long before, but for me this was a BAZINGA moment.
It takes gasoline to interest me.
