A great man, both on a professional level and on a personal level, Dan was the most honest, genuine, and selfless person I've ever known. I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace in Heaven, my friend. I never met Dan in person but we had many fine phone conversations over the years involving the various iterations of engines he built for our RR. Usually it would start out engine related but would eventually end up covering any topic under the sun. Terrible news. I just spoke with Craig (at Performance Only) yesterday and had no idea, I had heard Dan was getting better.
