We were racing this weekend and came up with a new best  The not so good news is that we had to use a "GM based two speed transmission" to do it  Top speed is 157.75 for those that use mph and the car was 2772#
-65 Valiant,420", all motor,2700#, dot tires, 8,42 @ 160,2

It's a two speed racing transmission! It has just as many GM parts in it as a Top Fuel Hemi has Mopar parts.  Congrats! Brian

RS stands for real street, no power adders,back halved with stock front suspension,dot tires ,all street trim and has to be able to pass inspection here

I am using a "swap meet special" converter, It s a 8" and fit my combo very well, supposed to be for a big block chevy...
