Was wondering if anyone can shed any light on some Hemi heads my brother bought from Direct Connection years ago. The part number for the heads are 4007855. All he remembers is they are stage II's. He wants to list them for sale and doesn't know the particulars. Any help will be appreciated!

I have a DC book, 1977, that shows a hemi head, part # P4007665, but it doesn't give any description of it.

You sure that is the right number you listed? Not saying it isn't right, just wondering if there is a chance it is this number. although that doesn't help either.

Someone will answer you, some of these guys will know.

They are dual plug heads. They're aluminum and accept the bigger rocker assemblies and it has an extra head bolt hole on each end of the head but its not used on the regular blocks and KB blocks. Try to supply pics later. Thanks. Part number reads stage II P/4007855 just to be clear.

Is that number on the box or the number on the head ? The number on the head is the casting number and is not the same as the part number.

That number is cast into the head right under where the rocker assy sits....only 1 head has it though.Don't see any other casting type #'s..as I recall...these heads were listed in an old 70's DC catalog with that P/4007855 part #....and the head description.I'm missing a few of those old catalogs so I couldn't check them all.Heads are being pressure checked now but when I get them back I'll give more info.

It is listed in 1979 Direct Connection catalog as P4007855 Aluminum Stage II.
No other description. I will keep looking.

I've also got a set with that casting# on just one of the heads. Mine are Stage V heads.
Says STEL and STAGE V and has a cast pentastar on the right side of the casting#.
The other one says STAGE V and HANSEN.
