I want to get my cuda seat tracks blasted and coated, but I need to remove the black plastic adjustment knob/lever. There is a small screw on the underside that I removed, but they still seem connected. There is also another small hole next to the screw hole. I have tried putting a small screwdriver into that hole thinking it was a sort of latch, but no success. Any ideas how to remove this part? :
Thanks

that hole might have a female 6 sided hex screw in it & if so it just needs a small correctly sized allen wrench to remove it

I had the same issue. What is holding it still in place after removing the screw is the rough drill/tap metal that wasn't cleaned off. They just slammed the knob on. After so many year, the plastic knob may have shrunk a bit and or the rough side of the drill hole rusted a bit. I used a torch pointed away from the knob on the metal handle and it came right off. Yes, I did file away that metal around the hole and it slid right on and off after that.

Yup, the heat did the trick. Thanks!
