i picked up a space saver tire. i only know about E bodys and it doesn't look right. it has the wrong size tire for Ebodys also. does anyone know what it's for. it has the 4 1/4" bolt pattern for mopars. there is the extra hole that i have seen on mopar rims. it is a F78-14" BF Goodrich tire. it has a funny looking stem with a SC on one side of the stem. and a sideways 2 on the other side.

date code. it ends in a 4 so my guess is it's from a 74 something mopar. it had a repo mopar inflator and bracket with it also.

4-1/4" ????? What is the bolt circle? It does look like a 4-1/2" bolt circle FoMoCo wheel, possibly a pieced together unit? There should be more date code stampings on the wheel. BA = UNIROYAL GOODRICH TIRE MANUFACTURING, AKRON, OHIO UNITED STATES L7 = size CU1 = type 214 = 21st week of 1974 (or '84) The tire could be from a Camaro or Firebird - not sure what FoMoCo products would've used a F78-14 during mid-'70s or '80s.

That's the correct manufacturer & size tire for '70-'71 e-bodies (BFG F78-14), but it is dated after they were factory available. Does it have "TEMPORARY USE ONLY" on the sidewall?
