gtx6970 OP Too Many Posts Joined: Jun 2003 Posts: 21,435 It's a dry heat	Anyone know if an engine from a 2005 Grand Caravan will work in a 2007 . all the aftermkt sources says I need a 2006 or 2007 only,,,, why ? I need a 3.8 V6 and all I can find are 2004 or 2005 model years

From Allpar: 3.3/3.8 Engine Chronology "In 2006-07, the 3.8 liter engine was retuned, yielding lower horsepower and torque ratings but a flatter torque curve for more of a punchy feel (pictured in the Jeep Wrangler, where gas mileage of the 3.8 was equal to that of the old 4.0 straight-six.)"
