I was just curious if anyone was doing it. Currently I feel the car is a little lazy on the 60ft. To date the best was a. 1.25 with an average of 1.28. We went 8.20 at almost 169 mph. I figured if the 60s were in the teens I might see a 7 out of it.
Thanks
Mike
That's a REALLY soft 60ft for a potentially 7 sec car. Something is for sure lacking. Converter, gearing, shocks, set up, tire........something is amiss.
If it's the Cuda in your sig.........it appears to have a LOT of bite in the chassis. You are barely out of the beams and it is punishing the tire and riding the bars hard

Who's doing it and how much?
thanks

Mike, the only guys I know that do that are with the turbo cars. I've seen about 150 hp to 250hp shot commonly used. They use the NOS to bring up boost quicker so they dont get caught with there pants down staging. You might want to head over to yellow bullet and see if anyone else has tried what your asking. In my opinion this is the wrong board for this question. You can tell by the types of replys you get back from some of the people here.
By the way nice looking car!
Brian
Yes post this over on the bullet......then take cover!
I don't know any personally but I hear some guys spray to spool.

There is no reason to do this. Some no's combos are tuned fat either on motor or no's and both. This will make it lazy leaving. Some relays are slow releasing delaying the nitrous activation. Look up the drop away time. Some relays come with a diode across the coils to help the magnetic field in the relay's coil collapse faster. Any realistic amount of no's activated while on the brake would be harmful.
Career best 8.02 @ 169 at 3050# and 10" tires small block power.
