I have a 71 B body, and when the door is closed, I can push, and pull it in and out. Even when driving I can watch it move in, and out. It's way to much, and I have tried moving the striker to every position without any improvement. Would this be a wore out latch, or something? Both doors do it, but driver side is worse.

Check the front hinges and pins for wear and movement I'm assuming you have the rubber insulators in place, correct? If not they may help

The front hinges are ok. Yes the bumpers are inlace. The latch just isn't holding it in place for some reason.

Check the striker post on the door jamb. Maybe the ring is loose on the post.

Without any detail pictures from you we'll all be guessing at the cause.
If you have your weather strip properly installed and your door bumpers in place the next thing is to see if your strikers are worn out.
Are the strikers original? E-Bay junk? NOS?
Are your latches tight in the doors???
So with all that checked and perfect the only thing left is to move the striker in till you can't get the door to catch it, then slowly start moving in out till it catches nicely without slamming.

After ALL of that is checked and adjusted your latches are the only piece of the puzzle left but highly unlikely.
