would this cooler be sufficient to cool a O500 that i'm putting in my dart? 3/8 line and it measures 10" x 7".

I run one that measures 8 x 15 in the Charger.
I've read that it is a good idea to plumb the lines through the radiator as well as through the external cooler.
I never did that and I've had this setup for 12 years without trouble.

You might read "How to pick a tranny cooler" on page 2. To ans your Q alot (most) depends on how hard you're gonna run it. As you know heat is the enemy & I want large a cooler as I can fit in front of the rad.
