I've read that it is a good idea to plumb the lines through the radiator as well as through the external cooler. I never did that and I've had this setup for 12 years without trouble.

As you know heat is the enemy & I want large a cooler as I can fit in front of the rad. live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
