What's the MINIMUM distance of slip yoke clearance (pulling rear ujoint out of rear yoke) that is acceptable? I went to cal-tracs and I don't have a lot of clearance and can't find this info listed in any of my manuals. Thanks Dave

3/4" of an inch

Put two to three hundred lbs. in the trunk and see how much clearance you have then, if it is 1/2 inch or more I would run it on a drag car Not on a street and strip car though 3/4 inch or more for the street

Cab what if cars has ladder bar suspenion? I can get driveshaft out with weight on rear of car. Thanks Bradley

I had an issue where at 85 to about 100 mph i had a vibration in my car. I changed driveshafts checked pinion angle changed trany mounts same thing. Changed pinion yoke from cast yoke to strange yoke and problem solved. Strange yoke is 1/2 longer than cast yoke. I drive it on street sometimes. I was told by another member 3/4 of an inch was good.
