Actually, there is no run-of-the-mill 727 converter; prior to '78 both 10 3/4" (commonly called the 11" converter and 11 3/4" (commonly called the 12" converter) were used depending on the installation.
The one pictured is the 10 3/4" (judging by the weight it's from a 360) and it would, by nature, have a higher stall speed than the 11 3/4" . Actual stall speed is dependent on power input.

Thanks for the reply John It was behind a 440 so I'll put it in and see if I get a little more action than the 12" vert. Everything's stock so if I gain a couple hundred RPM it's good with me This is what's in there now

Cast crank motor so it's good to go One thing I don't want to forget is to change the flex plate. Different bolt pattern for the converter bolts. DAMHIK Thanks again
