Hey Guys,

Is there supposed to be a washer in between the castle nut and the dust boot?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

The boot should cover the ball joint and the stud then sticks through the spindle with no washer just the nut.

Only the spindle is between the castle nut and the dust boot.

Apparently this differs with the manufacturer, if the nut bottoms before getting tight or if the cotter pin hole is too high in the castle nut, a washer is needed.
