dd340 OP super stock D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 727 Ottawa, ontario	I'm looking at headers and exhaust for my 69 dart. Right now I'm using the original system with 340 manifolds but I think I would like to upgrade to headers and a full 2 1/2 system. Any suggestions. Doug's headers seem to have a good reputation but what about pipes?

In addition to your choice of regular mufflers up front, additionally running some glasspacks alongside the rear leafs for addit'l noise control will let you run less restrictive (louder) muffs up front for more power from an overall less restrictive exhaust system with the noise level being tolerable. If you do go with the rear glasspacks choose quality ones that do not neck down on the ends where the nipples are welded to the case live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth
