I've done some looking in the archives of ideas on painting my Magnum 500 wheels and it looks like Eastwood Satin Black and a self etching primer before that.
Just wonder if anybody has any update on a better product to use. I am a novice painter and I know my quality of work will be much improved with a quality paint and primer.
The wheels have been alkaline dipped and all that left is the chrome which I will mask off for the primer and paint.
Do I want a high temp paint?
Doi want a primer filler?
Much appreciated.

I just used semi gloss dupli color and no primer. My wheels have been done for at least 10 years and they still look great.

That looks about dead on,did you use some kind of a mask for the chrome spokes?
