I noticed the 509 purple shaft has jumped up in price and was told by jegs that mopar is subbing out to another company to make their grinds.Anyone hear of this if so I wonder what company?

All I know is if it's purple for more than 4 hours it's advised to seek medical attention

I don't think MP has actually made their own purple shaft cams for years, if ever. Last I heard the vendor might have been Wolverine. If the prices have gone up I'd bet the bulk of the costs are due to the lifters being more expensive.
