RapidRobert Circle Track R Joined: Nov 2003 Posts: 36,040 Lincoln Nebraska	What Shorty said & if you are talking about header bolts that are leaking I would highly suggest instead using the OE studs with the unthreaded shoulder in the middle & with headers you can shorten the outer fine threaded portion so that only enough remains to be flush with the nut after tightening. Any more than that is a waste & hampers header flange fitment live every 24 hour block of time like it's your last day on earth

68goldfish member 6 Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 152 Worcester, Mass	Hi, I used Loctite 565 Thread sealant on my leaking 340 studs. A small dab on the first 10 or so threads of the stud will seal it. This product does not set solid like other paste sealants. Good luck!
