I am looking for the best product to seal up manifold studs from leaking antifreeze on a 70 big block.

Thanks,
Joe

What Shorty said & if you are talking about header bolts that are leaking I would highly suggest instead using the OE studs with the unthreaded shoulder in the middle & with headers you can shorten the outer fine threaded portion so that only enough remains to be flush with the nut after tightening. Any more than that is a waste & hampers header flange fitment

Hi,
I used Loctite 565 Thread sealant on my leaking 340 studs. A small dab on the first 10 or so threads of the stud will seal it. This product does not set solid like other paste sealants. Good luck!

With studs the slight shoulder seals them.I use antisieze on them.I even use it on bolts when using headers. No leaks at all. That and when you go to remove them they will come right out.Rocky
