I was considering that as well. Have a spare shell with all the glass & door mechanicals. Would be also like to know the weight of glass.

When we went to lexan and fiberglass doors on our 69 Dart small tire car I weighed the stock glass:
Doors complete with glass & regulators were 68.5lbs. ea.
Quarter glass & regulators 9lbs. ea.
Rear glass 17lbs.
We kept the glass windshield so I don't have a weight for it.

Thanks Mike, I decided to go back to all glass from lexan because the car is going to be street driven quite a bit plus its less a pain to clean it.

I just got a set of the guts that make the glass go up and down. When I picked up the box I was kinda shocked at how much it weighed. Not the glass itself, just the guts that make it work.

Also on my car the door X bar is right where the handle is so I have to open the door to crank down the window. This is on a Demon.

That Dart will be quite intimidating rolling around the street! Atre you gonna leave the parachute on?

That is a race car If I don't express myself well on here then I know, especially, on here, someone will say so Your windows weigh different than mine do, how much remains to be determined BTW, the reason for my attachment is to show you, and anynone else intereted, in seeing the differences in the size of the variuos Mopar window sizes from the A bodies to the E bodies

I don't care if glass weighed 500 pounds more I'll never run lexan again, well maybe that's an exaggeration.

Your car will have so much power it's not gonna care about a few extra pounds. And it looks amazing by the way.

Yes, my windshield is stock, 31 lbs. By removing the door, vent, rear 1/4 and back glass and replacing it with 1/8" Lexan I saved 84 lbs on my 64 Belvedere. You can make it look nice, just takes a little effort. This vent is Lexan (Vents are 1/4")

We are talking A body here correct.... My windshield (oem) was 23 lbs (1973 dart) so this and the above weights should give you a good idea of a total weight for all windows

Thanks Tony, that gives me a general idea. With all the glass it should still come in under 3000 lbs.
