Help plz!

I cut and welded in home made floorpans about 15yrs ago and am now putting in REAL floorpans.

Due to rust (and inexperience in welding home made pans in the wrong spots) I'm left with a bit of a mystery.

I've got the entire floor cut out and new pans laid in place. Need to repair metal coming down from the firewall and up from the support gusset but I'm not sure how the gusset is supposed to terminate. Does it end at an angle and support the floorpan (like the drivers side does) OR...does the gusset terminate in a 90deg lip and sandwich the floorpan between the firewall lip?

Which is right here? A or B?

CLICK ATTACHMENT button for full size pic.

Thanks......

B seems logical EXCEPT if you look at the drivers side on a B body...the gusset terminates at an angle and supports the floorpan...which is more like diagram A. That's which is why I'm thinking maybe the pass side is the same way perhaps??? Or not????

Anyone have one apart that knows for sure?

Speedometer cable clip.
Same as one used on LH rocker pinchweld for e-brake cable.

Thanks a lot Rick! These are great! I also needed reference pics of those support wedges that sit on top of the framerails and u got those in the pics as well. I'm glad bcus the tops of my supports are are pretty messed up and I'm going to end up repairing them too and might end up making new ones from scratch.

As for the gusset....looks like diagram "A" is the winner. The gusset terminates below the firewall lip and appears to have the same angled shape as the support wedge its attached to.

I'm going to finish my cardboard templates and get to cuttin metal tomorrow!

BTW.... whats that bracket on the drivers floor left of the tunnel? Bucket seat support bracket? If so....why not one on the pass side? I'm doing a bucket conversion so that might be important.
