Better than nothing, but a "grudge" style show, with actual grudge cars racing for a pot, would be far more entertaining......

Maybe Fox saw a few episodes of "street outlaws"and thought it would make sense to try and bring back a show that actually was about racing.

Good now I can race at one of their events like I was wanting to do. But they are all too far away from where I live so maybe they will have something closer than KC or Denver.

I hope this comes to be true. I don't know about your areas, but around here (SW Pennsylvania), there are fewer and fewer automotive related shows on and especially Drag race related. Sunday morning Power-block, and some NASCAR shows. You have to search all over the channels to find anything else worthwhile that's auto related. I did like Pinks All Out allot better than the original Pinks. Hope they seal the deal.

I liked the way Pinks All Out was set up... they got
tons of cars to show up and race for a NICE pot and
a tool box... I sure dont think they would get that
many grudge racers to show up.. JMO... plus they have
to run a FEW cars down the track and if they had to
scrape cars off the walls it would really slow the
show down

Real grudge cars would show up for real pots.

The stupidity of the original PINKS and the reason so many pieces of junk were showcased, was the reality of losing a car. How many people in their right minds would risk losing a legit piece???

All-Out was ok, but was too much like bracket racing. Let the camps set the stips and the kitty and have at it on a prepped surface with the nations best grudge cars.

Now THAT would be a show worth watching.

I would also like a show like that, but you would need to figure out how to get the trash talking on TV.

Careful editing that shows the highlights of the negotiations would be entertaining if done properly.

If they run it in the South you would be very wrong about the Grudge Racers and would not only get to to see some Bad Fast Cars but a lot of $$$ put up by the Racers. Most of the smaller tracks have a Grudge Race at least once a month and pack the place, not just with cars but with Spectators. And if you can't run 4's in the 1/8 mile you best be a Spectator. That is not a Joke and anyone wanting to do some Big $$$ Legal Drag Racing I can tell them what Tracks and what Dates they are having them.

I had a great time - both times I went to Pinks. Like most people, I didn't make it ONTO the show, but had a great time hanging with all my friends at the track for a couple of days. The atmosphere was electric and everybody was for the most part having a good time. Where else can you go and get some hits on the track for 2 days and a fancy T-shirt for $40? LOL

Bring your BBQ grills and have a party!

As goofy as the bald guy can be, the event we participated in @ Gateway back in 2008 was very well organized and we had a great time overall.

I was at the Gateway event too. I knew I was too fast to get picked, (they were looking for 16 tightly grouped cars) but I had a great time and the place was packed. I even got a little air time on the tv show.

I don't know who took this pic, (attachment) but I'd love to have a better copy as it may be my favorite pic of my car....

Yes I went to all out maple grove when it was there and had a good time. I would go to another one if it was close.

The woman raced at the Milan Pinks and was in the 11.0 class till they decided to do the 9.90 group instead. We had a Great time anyways, got to talk to the Pinks guys and they all were Nice, and will do it again.

Now my only complaint is how they have you get picked to enter your car. I have tried 4 different times for 4 different tracks to get thru on the computer just to get the comment, Sorry we are Full. I even went to a big university figuring the computers were faster but still the same thing. I had the site opened and ready when the time started to register. The woman tried all 4 times also and she did get thru on the Milan one. I get MAD when you hear someone on the show say, "this is my 4th time racing on your show" and I CAN'T EVEN get on 1 time.
Rant over and I am Happy they are coming back.
