Looking for bench seat photos with aftermarket auto floor shifters.
Just trying to choose if I should keep the bench seat in my 69 Valiant or go with buckets.

I run the factory front bench in my Demon with the original blue plaid in my 72 Demon with a floor shifter (Hurst pistol grip 4 speed stick).

I like the bench seat for 2 reasons

1) is I love to be different and a black / blue rubber floor mated car (my car came with the floor mat and no carpet factory with a 4 speed) and the bench seat always grabs attention at shows.

2) I like when the Misses sit right next to me while driving. Cant do that with buckets.

I know auto on the floor is a tad bit different but not much.

Joe

70 Satellite with bench seat and a B&M shifter.
You'll want to make sure the seat is set where you can reach everything before installing the shifter. I had to weld some sheet steel in to get it to sit the way I wanted. If you don't it seems like its too far away.

Pic is too large and will not load..

That's why I wanted to see some pics,to see where the shifter was located.
Will take your advice and make sure shifter is in the best spot, if I go with the bench seat.
