On my 66, with a 904-6cyl trans when the car sits (converter drains back) my shift selector seal is leaking. Since I am going to pull the valve body to do this seal, I want to replace the throttle shaft seal as well.
Does anybody have a good part number for these I can get from Napa or Advanced /ect?
Thanks, Joe
BE SURE to clean up both shafts of rust and corrosion OR that will chew-up the new seals.

Don't know about local retailers, but if you go to a place like Bulkpart.com you can find the seals your need:
http://www.bulkpart.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=2&Category_Code=A904
Throttle seal: 12349
Manual shift: 22072A
I appreciate all the help. I checked with the commercial guy I buy from for my company and her is getting the above part numbers in for me tomorrow via UPS. The cost is like $10. Not bad as I hate to wait for parts like this to come in. Thank you again for the help and the idea about polishing the shaft while the valve body is out.

Rock auto has them for .94!! I checked the local parts houses before and they want $8 bucks for the same seal!! Call Oriellys and check the price! While you have them on the phone price a front pump seal! Last time I did it was around $25!! That's robbery!
Last summer I replaced all the seals but you guessed it the shifter seals. I am ok with places like Rock Auto but I hate to wait and honestly $7.00 more and I have it tomorrow is not bad. The $.98 is cheaper but with shipping it will be about $6.00 when I priced it. Plus if it is wrong... The guy at the counter is easy to send it back. Time is everything with me as I have limited chances to work on the car. It sat on the trailer all winter and there is a puddle underneath now. I hate to park it on the drive way with a seal leak. Thanks for the input! Joe
