Needing seats for my '71 Cuda and would like to update the cabin. Not looking for a race interior as the rest will be fairly stock, only updated gauges and carbon fiber shifter handle. Thinking something sporty and supportive like in a newer car (Challenger, Audi, Corvette/Camaro/Mustang..) like the resto mod/pro touring look. Do any of you have any good fit ideas or better yet pictures of what you have done?
Thanks!

Procar by Scat has quite a few seats to look at and they sell seat brackets so you don't have to modify yours.

i put some audi tt seats in my challenger. in stock form they are too tall, so i had to remove most of the factory mounts and sliders and fabricate my own. was a lot of work but it turned out well and they suit the look of the car. i will have to dig thru my files to find pics

I would, but I don't own the seats.

You can buy them on Summit...

Brackets...

I've sat in the rallye seats a couple times. Lots of people like them because they hug you very nicely, unless you're big/wide like me, then they can get pretty uncomfortable.

Edit:Found the picture I took of my friend's '71 Demon...

Thanks for the picture. That looks a little too supportive to me too and im skinny! I am thinking something a little more modern and cushy like you would see in a new sporty car yet still easy to get in and out of.

The seats in the picture look like Scat Rally's. I'm running a set in a Challenger. I got them from Summit with brackets to fit an E. I really like them. Yes they are supportive and also comfortable. I did round trip from IL to San Diego and back in a week in that Challenger with good comfort.

Well, I'm 5'7" and 230 lbs so that's why I don't fit. My friend who owns it is 5'10" and about 140-150 lbs and absolutely loves them. OzHemi has them in his Torana and loves them too.

For me personally, I would look for SRT seats.

I've installed a pair of Scat sportsman in My challenger. I like them for the added support but they do sit about an inch higher that the stock buckets. I made up my own brackets and used the sliders that came with the seats.

How do you like those seats? I was thinking about those for my Dart as they seem wider and have extra support.

I do like them for the support. the upper portion is a bit wider than stock buckets. also they sit higher. I stopped by Scat the last time
I was in L.A. and was able to sit in their different seats. The Rally's are very comfy but weren't the look I was going for.
I liked the looks and the support of the Sportsman.
They also have a sportsman Pro that is a bit narrower but was too narrow for me, I think the seats I have may be a little too big in an A-body.

Will the SRT seats fit in a E body? I like them a lot but they look tall.
