humm the front will be hard, the rear is probably the same as any 68-70 b-body. You'd probably be better off finding a solid unit or maybe just pick up a fiberglass piece. You are going to spend a lot of time drill spot welds, then cutting welding the support back in.

Gil , only a charger hood underbrace is going to work and probably only a 1970 because the hood is different than a 68/69

Thanks for the input. I figure as much but I'm certain a B body guru knows the differences in the bracing or have across this.
Time and labor I have. Living on an island in the middle of the Pacific will make you appreciate what you have

Thanks John. Yep, I figured as much since AMD only offers the earlier hood. Just looking at alternatives rather than hand fabbing all of the structure or scrappin' a hood otherwise that is clean.

how bad is it? I'm guessing a 70 hood would be what $300???

So far only one hood I've found for $400 has a single rust hole underneath (questionable) and a corner needs repair. Shipping to Hawaii and getting it crated I'm certain will be about $700+. If I go this route id rather purchase a pristine hood.
And again, I'd like to save a hood if possible.
