Can anyone tell me, for sure, if the bucket seat FRAMES would be the same...or tell me how similar they are..... from a 74 B Body to a 77 F body?

what I am getting at is...if they were stripped to the springs could I fit B body foam and covers to the F body seat frames?

if they do differ, can anyone give me info on how much the frames differ?

thanks in advance.

My question would be why, B/E body seats are plentiful.

The main thing to look at is the seat release. The 73-74 B body release is a button on the back of the seat on the side facing out. My buddies Volarie I believe has a different mechanism for the seat release. I'd suggest posting a wanted ad and getting a 73-74 seat if that is what your looking for.

If the latch were the only difference, I could handle that, no problem. As to why...I already have the aspen seats gathering dust. Also have a pair of 80s Lebaron seats but theyre a different shape than the stock ones
