In the process of completing the installation of my heater box for my 71. I have made all the connections at the box but am trying to figure out where the green hose connects in the engine compartment. Maybe between the water valve and engine vacuum source? Unfortunately for me the lines were disconnected a long time ago. If anyone whould happen to have a diagram or be willing to trace the line for me, I would be most appreciative!

The green hose usually goes to the recirculation door. But I am not sure where it is on your car as most are inside the car. I might be able to try and find the vacum hose routing for the AC system in one of my books. Ron

Look under the battery tray for a vacuum can.

I don't have a '71 Dodge FSM but here is a page from the '71 Plymouth one. Perhaps it will help. The FSM shows the vacuum tank/reservoir under the battery (as already mentioned above).

Don't see any green referenced lines in the above pic....Look in your 71 dodge FSM...That will have all the info...
