Does someone make a repro battery with this number on it? I can find "early" or "late". Should I assume (without a build sheet) that a '68 build '69 model year still classifies as "late"? If so then I believe the above part number should be correct. Antique auto battery has 2875320. Restoration Battery.com has 2932852. Turbostart seems to have 2642967. Will the judges bang the wrong number or is group 27 red cap ok? Thanks!

Great price and service. I ordered my Group 27 on a Thursday and had it on Monday! That was the second time he hooked me up that quickly.

Not sure if they have a reproduction battery with that number on it but if they do it may not be exact in all lettering as this original one.
As stated Fred will know for sure if they carry it..

70 date code on the bottom of this original group 27..

He doesn't have that exact part number. Seems different manufacturers have different numbers but none exact. Thanks for posting the pics.. that's whats great about this group... stuff you cant see anywhere else
