Do C-bodies have the car's VIN stamped in the body? I know e-bodies have the VIN on the cowl and radiator support.

Is there a good source for production data on 67 C-bodies (Fury). How to read the build sheets, fender tag.

Thanks!

'67 model year cars have the SO number (sales order) on newer cars it is called the VON (vehicle order number) stamped in them. Compare the body numbers to the SO number on the fender tag & broadcast sheet.

The owner just wants to learn and authenticate his car. It is a cool one, 383 4bbl, factory 4 speed, in a C-body!

Here's a fender tag decode of a local '67 Fury III - "light green metallic" with a "turquoise" interior.
