Just curious about them...Besides them being painted Grey instead of Green. Did they get some kind of Pad for them also? Also does anyone have one with the part # stamped in it? The two I have do not have the part numbers in them and I have never seen one with a # in it for a Plymouth only the 71 Dodge. Thanks in advance..

The hook for my GTX is gray and no part # is stamped. This was a one owner until last year, LA built car.

I've got one of each and IIRC they are both green and both look almost the same. No pads or anything on the rubber bumper hook. If I dig them out I'll snap a couple of pics.

These are the two jack hooks I have:

Top Jack hook 2962688 has a flat hook at the end.
Bottom Jack hook 3464960 has a V shaped hook at the end.


I thought one was a rubber bumper hook, but Gayman Goober's book lists both for chrome bumpers.

Here is mine. No part # stamped into it. Just a Pentastar. Factory chrome bumper car. Built in LA, with a SPD of 9/11/70

From what I know some slipped out with the "grey" or painted bumper jack as my one owner original 71 SSP chrome bumpered car has the grey hook with no numbers in it.....

I have also seen the 688 hook in gray, and I spoke with someone this weekend who has an original green hook with no stamped numbers.
