Barn Find 1969 roadrunner. We installed a battery last night and had an issue.
Turn signal activated the Hazzard lights...all blinking even in the dash( turn signal indicators flashing ). any thoughts as to what the issue is...Flasher? Turn signal switch? or? I appreciate any help!

Thanks in advance, Scott

Make sure the front park-turn housings are well grounded in bumper.

Crossed wires/connections somewhare. On that (69RR) is the hazard switch in the columm? I'd seperate the TS/brake harness under the col & start checking continuities which will tell you if the problem is in the col TS switch/its' harness or downstream. The wiring diagrams at www.mymopar.com will likely help. there are 2 flasher cans.

try the hazard lights by themselves . if they work correctly , pull the falsher that operates them . Now go back and try signal lights . if they all flash , chances are is that the signal light switch in column is broken or somebody done some terrible wiring and got main wires crossed up .

reach under the dash and unplug the 4-way switch. if all the lights still flash then the turn signal switch is bad/corroded. or as stated above, something is plugged in wrong but i doubt that.

Update: Was going to investigate the turn signal issue, however everything worked this time. I will go through all of the grounds and connections...must have had a bad connection.I removed the plugs and hit the cyl with wd40 then spun it over and installed plugs. I also checked for spark yesterday..none..hot wired coil battery tp + side of coil..it worked. Then I cleaned the Ballast Connections and removed the hot wire and it worked. TonightI put a carb on and it fired up.
Thank you all for the advice.
