The recent drop in the dollar and crazy shipping cost from the USA is a deal breaker sometimes

once you've stroked it,you'll wish you stroked it sooner

shipped anything within Canada lately? no savings there and your Canadian supplier is just buying it out of the US so no saving there either.

While Canada Post is no treat for shipping costs, it is still less to ship something within Canada, even from Ontario to Alberta or BC than it is to cross the border.

Nigel (Furyman) at National Moparts has always been pretty competitive on his pricing and also very fair to deal with.

The OP would certainly be well advised to at least give him a call and compare.

Shipping UPS, FedEx, Puro or CanPar within Canada is cheaper than shipping up from the US. And right off the bat you save at least $35. brokerage fees which they all charge on EVERY cross-border package regardless of size or value.

Whether you get a competitive price on parts is another thing altogether. Just keep in mind that they had to have it shipped up here at some point too, albeit in bulk.

We ship a lot to Canada via the US Post Office. Not saying it'll be as cheap as within Canada as I don't know. But, we're glad to help if you need us.

I know he is an AMD distributor as well. I bought quite a bit of stuff from Bob over the years. He has always been great to deal with and ALWAYS is in contact with you.
