First, does anyone have any track/power results in going from one to the other?? Second, what is the height difference between the two?
Thanks!

When the 440 Victor first came out, I did a same day, back to back test changing nothing but the manifold. I had a single plane M-1 with a 1" spacer and swapped it for the Victor with no spacer. I drop almost .200 in et and pick up almost 2 mph. Every car will be different though.

Rob - I'm trying, but whats a little old intake gonna do anyhow??? Greg - Do you recall the height difference between the two? I would be looking the 383/400 intake. BTW, 2 tenths and 2 mph is a pretty awesome improvement! Mopar65 - I remember reading about Victor intake mods as well... It's been a while though. Good luck with your swap and let us know how it works for you.

I found pics from 2 different threads, about 10 months apart. I don't know who posted these but they almost look like they could be pics of the same intake. Feb 2004 - Before. Feb 2004 - After. Dec 2004 - Before. Dec 2004 - After.
In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

gomangocuda thanks for the pixs. those are what i need to see.thanks. i found a moparts member to port the victor for me.but he can not do it untill the end of july. so i might throw the victor on. out of the box and see how it does.allso i bought 2 inch moroso carburetor adapter. so i can run my dominator on the victor.on the adapter the inside is as cast. should i smooth the inside or leave it like it is? i plan on going to the track in about two weeks. jamesc if i remember right on the last post.it was said after they ported the victor intake. it was worth 10-15 horsepower.but i am probly wrong though.mopoar65

The height of the MP M1 low deck intake was in the Tech Archives the last time I looked, and Edelbrock has the height of all their manifolds in their catalog/website.

This is my Victor with Dominator adapter. The black-lined areas will be reduced.

Bob, what type of gain do you expect to see going to the victor with your combo?

Your car would look great with a SS scoop on it! The only reason the scoop is on my car is so the manifold fits.
